You pay for what you want Had this iron since January and already it doesn’t get hot as my old iron did and it clicks on and off. This sucks! Date published: 2018-10-13

Iron doesn't get that hot My mom bought me this iron just over two months ago. She has the exact same iron and loves it. My iron does not get that hot, and I have to re-iron my clothes for work. Date published: 2018-09-11

Auto Shut Off This is a great iron WHEN IT IS HOT, but I can't figure out why it seems to shut off - needing to reheat, but what is the light? Green = ready or heating? No light = ? Red Flashing light seems to be about to shut off completely. I'd give it a 5 if I could find out how to keep it hot without much interruption. Cooling down while ironing isn't so great. I'm all for auto shut-off in general. Date published: 2018-08-17

Terrible Iron!!!!! I purchased this about 6 months ago on Amazon and I absolutely hate this iron. It turns off in the middle of ironing, the heat level is highly variable, and it is worthless at getting any more than minor wrinkles out. Do not waste your money on this! Date published: 2018-08-09

Love & Hate relationship I had a Black & Decker traditional iron for 20 years that I absolutely loved. I loved the heavy weight and simple features. When it finally died, I bought a new Classic iron with the auto shut-off, green light/red light (couldn't find a traditional one). This is where the "hate" comes in. It shuts off while I'm ironing - steam & heat gone! Please bring back your original one without the auto shut-off. Date published: 2018-07-28

The Shut-off Feature I have used the Classic iron for years. When one stopped working, I would buy another. The last one has the 3 way shut off and, for this reason, I am very dissatisfied with this iron. Because of this feature, it takes me twice as long to get the job done because it shuts off too much. I came here to learn if this feature remains and since it does, I will never buy another one. The instructions say to "tap" the iron to return it to the heat & steam but tapping does not work. I am tired of having to commit assault and battery on my iron to get it to work. Can the shut-off feature be by-passed by the owner? If ever this feature is not on the iron, I would love to have another. Date published: 2018-06-18

Best Iron ever! I've tried many brands, expensive and inexpensive. This simple iron, by far, does the best job. Even on linen shirts that I washed and left hanging for a few days. Date published: 2018-06-05
