Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really liked it! I've used this for a few months now and I really like it. I do a lot of baking and this has helped me tremendously. It is a little loud but does get the job done. It's not a high end product by any means but does the work well and for a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I have a hard time with food processors I just can not get them together. I had no issues assembling this one at all. I was able to shred 3 lbs of cabbage for sauerkraut quickly and easily. It works fast and is easy to clean after.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product by Black and Decker is made well. For me the assembly was not easy to do and took much time. There were several parts that had to be put together meaning clean up would be a chore. For someone who has the time they might enjoy experimenting with it. No recipe book was included either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean I have never had an appliance that chops and slices. Always did by hand. First onions went in to chop and I chopped with no tears. Then cleanup was a breeze and it didn’t still smell like onions. I have done other things but this is one that impressed me the most

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sharp blades I've used this black and decker food processor a few times. It doesn't work for everything. I attempted to chop an onion quickly which it did but it left many large chunks to slip through the blade. I wish there were other blades because I don't feel the one it includes works for everything though it is a sharp blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use! I am honestly a novice in the kitchen and this Black and Decker Food Processor was my first appliance of it's kind. It truly is easy to assemble and the instructions were enough to make it through whipping up my first homemade salsa. It's super easy to dissemble and clean, as most parts are dishwasher safe. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a good food processor, especially because it is so user-friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So useful It's been a few months since I got this small appliance and I have used it a hundred times. It is so far my favorite. I used it to slice vegetables , to shred cheese, to make puree and it is doing a very good job. I love how easy it is to set it up and to use it. I also love that it is dishwaher safe. It is not too big The size is perfect for my counter top

can it grind chicken breast ?

Asked by: bella1
Thank you for your question, bella1. Yes, you can grin chicken in the food processor, but it will need to be boneless. Also, when chopping cooked or raw meat, the food should be very cold. Use no more than 2 cups of 3/4 inch cubes. Process using PULSE in 5 second intervals.

Keeps oozing out of bottom where spindle fits into the blender part. not even close to filling it above fill line. I plan on returning it tomorrow

Asked by: rberken
there is a liquid fill level on the side of the work bowl. if you add liquid past that mark it can leak through the center spindle hole. (the rubber O-ring on the center spindle can wear out or be a bit to small and feel "wobbly" if that is the case replace the O-ring with a new one. (they are cheap at any hardware store and easy to replace with nothing more than a butter knife or small screwdriver) I hope this helps.

I bought today the 12 up food processor. I assembled it but cannot make it work. I took it apart many times and put it back together again without success. There is no problem with the power at home. Is there a video on that shows the steps?

Asked by: youna11
1. make sure it is plugged in to a powered socket. (some wall sockets have a fault detecting safety circuit breaker.) 2. when you put the work bowl cover on top be sure that the tab clicks in to the handle of the work bowl. (It is a safety feature so it can not turn on by accident when you remove food and or parts.) 3. Remember to ALWAYS read the instruction manual BEFORE you operate a new device. (It will help you enjoy the product more and safely and it may show you tips on how to use it you may have not thought of.) I hope this helps.

Is there an emulsifier attachment for this unit? I loved that on my old (not b&d) f.p. but I fried that one recently.

how to chop cabbage

Asked by: fisherman37

Brand new out of the box, I used the shredder for about 5 minutes total (not running for 5 minutes) on and off and when I removed items from the bowl and put it back on, it does not turn back on. Help please, this was so good for so little time.
