Homemade Pickles

  1. 2 cucumbers, sliced with slicing blade (thickest setting)
  2. 6 sprigs fresh dill
  3. 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
  4. 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  5. ½ Tbsp. sugar
  6. 1 tsp. salt
  7. ⅓ cup white vinegar
  8. ¾ cup water


Place the sliced cucumbers in a large bowl and toss with the dill and garlic.

In a small saucepan heat the sugar, salt, vinegar and water over medium-high heat, until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.

Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumber slices and cover tightly with saran wrap.

Place in the refrigerator overnight to allow the cucumbers to pickle.

Use to make your favorite sandwich even tastier.
