Preheat toaster oven to 375°F.
Combine dry ingredients in small bowl.
Mix together applesauce, milk, oil and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
Spoon batter into a greased, oven safe coffee mug.
Bake 15 to 17 min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For 2 servings, divide batter between 2 greased ramekins and bake as directed.
