Apple Brown Sugar Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  2. 1 Tbsp. salt
  3. 2 medium apples, chopped
  4. 3 cups steel cut oats
  5. 3 Tbsp. butter
  6. 4 cups water
  7. 1 1/2 cups half and half
  8. 1/3 cup maple syrup
  9. 2/3 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  2. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 7-8 hours on low, or until apples are tender.
  3. Stir and serve with milk, if desired.
