Tasty Tuscan Soup With Kale

  1. 2 cans (15 oz. each) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  2. 2 cans (14 oz. each) chicken broth
  3. 1/4 Parmesan cheese
  4. 6 cups loosely packed chopped fresh kale
  5. 1 medium onion, choppped
  6. 1 lb Italian Sausage, sliced into coin sized pieces
  7. 2 cans (14 oz. each) diced tomatoes


Place Italian sausage and onion into the cooking bowl.  Press the SAUTE button.   Cook and stir 8 to 10 minutes or until meat is cooked and onion is tender.  Remove bowl from base; discard drippings from pan.

Add remaining ingredients to cooking bowl; stir to combine.

Cook, covered on SLOW COOK setting 5 to 6 hours.

TIP: Serve with a crisp side salad and Italian bread.
