Baked Ziti

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tsp Dried Basil
  2. 2 Eggs
  3. 7oz Package Shredded Mozzarella
  4. 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  5. 6oz Package Shredded Parmesan
  6. 24oz Pasta Sauce
  7. 15oz Container Ricotta Cheese
  8. Salt and Pepper to Taste
  9. 1 Medium Yellow Squash, sliced 1/8" thick
  10. 16oz uncooked Ziti
  11. 1 Medium Zucchini, sliced 1/8" thick

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta, eggs, basil, oregano and salt and pepper.
  2. Grease the slow cooker with cooking spray and pour 2 cups pasta sauce into the bottom.
  3. Layer 1/3 of the pasta and 1/3 squash slices. Dollop 1/3 of the ricotta mixture on top, and top with ¾ cup mozzarella and ¾ cup parmesan.
  4. Repeat with two more layers, ending with cheese.
  5. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hour on high, or until pasta is al dente.
  6. Serve with a side of garlic bread.
