Ham and Cheese Waffles

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tsp. baking powder
  2. ½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  3. 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1½ cups flour
  6. 1 cup ham, diced
  7. ¾ cup milk
  8. ⅛ tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat your waffle maker.
  2. In medium bowl, cream butter with hand mixer. Mix in milk and eggs until combined.
  3. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix to combine.
  4. Fold in ham and cheese.
  5. Pour ⅔ cup batter into center of each waffle plate and cook for 7-8 minutes, or until waffles are golden brown.
  6. Remove waffles and place on wire rack to cool. Repeat with remaining batter.
