Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the price The plastic bowl broke after six times we used it, the replacement bowl costs almost as much as a new one. Not worth the price or effert to replace.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bowl Melted in the Dishwasher I bought it to chop veggies and it worked ok. The food gets stuck on the lip of the area where you place the stuff in. It is annoying. After being disappointed by that my husband placed the bowl in the dishwasher and it melted. He threw it away and now I'm looking for a replacement bowl. I will never buy it again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shredding Disc I was given this food processor as a gift. It worked beautifully at first. Then the shaft on the shredding disc broke and it will not grate cheese any longer. I've looked to purchase just the shredding disc, and it the places that offer it want as much as the whole food processor itself! I would think that a Black & Decker product would have lasted many years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only used a few times On the third use, I was shredding zucchini for bread. It seemed to be working fine for the first few batches. The last bowl I shredded, the plastic from the center piece melted and fused the shredder disc to it and destroyed the lid ... and plastic 'shreds' ended up in the zucchini as well. This is not only terrible manufacturing but also a health risk. I was going to look for parts, but it would cost me more than the price of a new one to replace the parts I need to make it operational again. This is a very poor product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good #of times used so far: 20 - 30. Uses: I make Thai curry paste base from galangal, green chilis, garlic, oil, and water...process until it's finely minced; pie crust dough; guacamole and mock-amole; sometimes I use it to quickly rough chop onions for sauteing; garlic-ginger paste for Chinese and Indian dishesThe black veggie pusher down thingy cracked though...so I have to hold a bowl or plate over it to prevent food from getting flung all over my kitchen...not a big deal though

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved my food processor I purchased this food processor based on the B&D name and price. I loved it and was so excited. I used it about 5 times and the last time I went to use make Pesto, the motor was dead. I'm so disappointed and need to know what to do.
