Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic on chopping blade is cracking I have babied this processor since I bought it as a replacement for my previous one. I wash it by hand and don't chop extremely hard foods so I was surprised when I saw the plastic on the chopping blade is cracked and it will be soon useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't get lid locked into place. First product I have ever bought from this company and I highly doubt I will purchase another. I will be returning it to the store as soon as I can clean it out and reassemble it. This product was a waste of time. I got everything assemble and filled up the bowl only to find out that the lid won't lock into place. I tried so hard to get the lid into place that I nearly broke it. I've never written a bad review about any product before but this was truly frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in Cheap Hardware I have always had great luck with B&D products and associated the brand with quality. That's why I was so surprised and disappointed by my experience with this product. I received it as a gift about a year ago, and overall, it's gotten the job done. It's been used lightly and sporadically. Last week, as I was chopping just a couple of cups of walnuts (nothing that I would think it couldn't handle!) the control knob just clear broke off! Completely unusable now. Such a disappointment. I guess things just aren't made like they used to be...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cannot lock the top Just bought this and put it together. But the top lid will NOT lock in. I am returning it to the store now. Quite unhappy to have to do the work of taking it all apart and putting all the parts back in the plastic bags. This is a waste for the manufacturer, for the store, and for the customer. Why can't you just manufacture things that will indeed work?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh. Very difficult to get the bowl lined up to start. I have to hug the base while turning the bowl to the locked position, not easy to do with arthritis. I got the processor specifically because of the arthritis and the difficulty I am having with cutting foods. Also the slicing disc slices food thin. I was hoping there would be other discs with a thicker slice but it doesn't seem like it. I'm thinking of taking it back to the store and try a different brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works great but... Top of the blade piece got stripped which makes it difficult to take apart and i cant find replacement parts. I could find replacement parts i would give this Food Processor a solid 4 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really loved it at first but then... We got this food processor a few months ago and use it on a weekly basis to make spreads and soups and I really loved how easy it made things. A few weeks after we got it the outer part of the handle broke off when my husband was doing the dishes but it still worked fine so we just let it be. The other day though while making cookie batter steam ended up coming off the processor and when I opened it the upper part of the blade part had melted. Now the part won't fit properly into its place anymore and the contents on the bottom of the processor aren't being cut up. It is really too bad we only had it for a short while and I really didn't expect anything like this to happen. We're looking for a replacement now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not dishwasher safe This had been working just fine until I placed it in the dishwasher and now the workbowl is dented and the lid takes some elbow work to fit on. It jams now and takes quite a bit for the lid to come off.
