Rated 1 out of 5 by from The lid broke the first week! I loved the one I had and used for years. I'm disappointed in this one. The latch on the lid broke the first week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lid broke I've had this a little over a year, and I really liked it. However, the locking mechanism on the lid broke, so it is useless now. Very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blade drive interface stripped out We used the chopper primarily for chopping up nuts for use in recipes, which it seemed to do well. About the time that the warranty expired, the blade stopped turning when the motor was on. Upon inspection, I discovered that the plastic inside the blade part was stripped out where it interfaced with the drive shaft. I found a replacement blade online, but, of course, it costs as much as the entire chopper unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this little chopper. It's fantastic when I don't need to use the large processor. Dishwasher cleanup. Can't beat it. After many years use it died & I'm on my second one for many more years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 modes... Whole or Soup. It does not chop This unfortunate little appliance has two modes for food... small pieces to get into the thing or soup. Pulsing gives you various degrees of one or the other. It does not chop. The stuff at the top stays at the top and whole. The stuff at the bottom is pureed. I can shake it and get a bit more puree but I have not gotten chopped. Beautiful salsa sized veggies like on the box... Nope. Nope. Nope. Good for very finely minced veggies for curries and other sauces but my magic bullet does that. I was hoping for a chopper. I have not tried it for nut butters but that may be a good use for it.Also, getting the blue dot to line up to start the thing is quite difficult. One reason to automate was that my hands often get stiff when chopping food by hand. But this is worse... It takes a lot of force to line the dots up. The thing does not work unless it is lined up. It is hard to gauge and once I twisted too hard and it took 10 mins to untwist. If it wasn't so cheap, I would be pleading for a refund from Amazon.Black and Decker, I am seriously disappointed you put your name on this very poor product. Even your video does not show it chopping anything. If you were going to make a video, why wouldn't you show it actually chopping something?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapponted I received a B&D Model HC306 OneTouch Chopper as a Christmas gift to replace the B&D Mini Chopper I'd had for over a decade (that finally gave up the ghost). I loved that Mini Chopper and used it almost daily. I was adamant that it be replaced with another B&D unit – but now I question my loyalty. I am grossly disappointed in the new unit I received….Whatever design changes were made, they were bad. Almost every time I have tried to use it, the blade rises upward due to the effect of the centrifugal force and disengages from the rotator so the blades stopped rotating. Very frustrating! It is worthless to me!
