Rated 1 out of 5 by from Exterior dimensions?? Dear Black & Decker: Many of us have small kitchens with limited counter space. Why do you fail to show the exterior dimensions of your toaster ovens on this website? Those figures are as basic, and as important, as the interior depth and width and the wattage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ultimate disappointed I brought this product a month ago and was pretty excited to be able to use it as another means to cook, considering I am living in an extended stay hotel with only two burners to cook. I decided to cook a small turkey breast. Following the mediocre instructions that was provided, I still had a dry and burnt turkey breast. Setting the oven between 300 and 350 and the top of the breast not touching the top heaters, I did not think it would burn nor dry out the breast. I was disappointed and had to settle for something else. I decided to try a pizza on a different occasion and once again my food was burnt and this time under cooked. Not sure if I want to attempt to use it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very unimpressed Bought this last week and not really happy. Even with the small slices of bread, six won't fit. Baking evenly is not going to happen. B and D used to be a great brand, now fails miserably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It will bake chicken I purchased this product the other day after my toaster oven died. Brought it home plugged it in and warmed up a hot Pocket, worked perfectly. Then yesterday decided to try to bake a chicken, other than the back part of the breast was to close to the heating elements on top and got the skin crispy burnt it came out surprisingly well. Was juicy so was the white meat. The skin on the rack didn't get crispy. That's ok had baked chicken in under an hour and clean up was a breaze

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed I purchased this item from a local store and was so absolutely thrilled with the way it worked. In our home, we have decided to eliminate the microwave. We use the stove, oven and toaster oven for all of our needs. It has worked really well for us, until now. One week ago, after only 90 days, the timer stopped working and it seems to be taking a ton of time to just warm something up. Hard to tell what is happening, is it not heating because the timer is screwed up or is the timer screwed up because it doesn't seem to be heating. The toaster part works well, and the broil/grill.... but the standard temp of around 300-350 degrees is the problem area.Of course 90 days, I am certain I cannot return the item to the store, plus I didn't keep the packaging. I threw that away after 60 days. I have the receipt, but looks like I am stuck. Terribly disappointed, and I noticed online many people are having the same trouble. Of course it can be fixed, just buy more stuff to fix it. At this point, after only 90 days, it would be throwing good money after bad.Looks like I will have to abandon Black & Decker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from But..... I bought this yesterday and read the "instruction manual" that came with it. I like the machine, BUT...this is the worst manual I've ever seen. At best, it is vaguely helpful! Their website is not much better! Most of this manual tells you what you shouldn't do, like: "Do not touch hot surfaces." "Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, and the like." And then there is my all time favorite: "To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in water or other liquid."I got some good information from people that commented on their experience and problems. One person tried cooking a 12" pizza. She said it fit in the oven but did not cook evenly! The B&D website indicated that you should not to cover the rack with aluminum foil or it will cause overheating and poor cooking results. After looking in my oven, I came to the conclusion that a 12" pizza will almost cover the entire rack and therefore result in "overheating and poor cooking results".Don't get me wrong, I like this machine but the manual is very little help in actually using it. In fact, I don't think the people that wrote the manual ever tried cooking anything in it!
