Rated 1 out of 5 by from It worked about 4 times It worked about 4 times before it stopped. It stated that you could take the carafe off and put it back on and it would pause brewing but it didn't. Waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than Keurig We bought this about three months ago. Happy with it until the spring and knob broke off basket. That sneak a cup feature is no longer good! How can I replace the basket? I don't want to have to return it! Overall, very happy for a less expensive product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee maker with low price This coffee maker actually does the job pretty well, solid quality especially considering the price tag. I bought one from Walmart two years ago and used it almost every week. It's a basic 12-cup one without fancy functions, just makes the coffee without issues for me. Very reliable to me, brew the coffee and keep it warm for about 2 hours, then it shuts off automatically. Also the auto starting feature is great, simple to use and it never missed one after I programmed it. So far I am very pleased with it. That's why I just bought another one when my wife broke the carafe since the replacement is hard to find and not much less than buying a new set!One minor problem is I wish it could remember the time when it is plugged out, though it's very simple to adjust the time, not much a deal to me and well, can't ask too much for a cheap, basic coffee maker!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from will not buy again I purchased this 3 months ago and it has been undependable from the start. I bought it because of the carafe feature so it would keep coffee hot but not burn it. Now it stops after a few minute during brewing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has Design Flaws Having read the other poor reviews about this coffee maker, I still made the purchase, due to the low price. Being an engineer, I could quickly see the problems with this coffee maker, and found workarounds for them. The "Sneak a Cup" feature is the bigger problem. The raised bump at the top of the carafe lid and the shape of the valve at the bottom of the basket are such that strain is placed on the plastic valve stem which can bend or break when the carafe is inserted or removed while the basket is in place and the lid down. Once that happens, the brewed coffee will not drain from the basket quickly enough, and an overflow situation will arise. The solution is to not insert or remove the carafe when the basket is in place. Place the carafe in place and then put the basket in. When coffee is brewed, open the lid, remove the basket, and then remove the carafe. Yes, it's inconvenient, but works. The second flaw is that the lid that holds the brew basket down doesn't seat and latch properly when only using the front lip to lower and secure. Once lowered, press firmly on the front of the lid to hear and feel a "click". Do the same on both sides of the lid, towards the back of the rounded part over the basket. You'll also feel the lid completely lower and snap into place. So far, there have been no issues with the timer or other electronic controls. I'm still keeping my original box just in case.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from tOTAL wASTE OF mONEY i BOUGHT THIS ABOUT SIX WEEKS AGO AND EVERY MORNING i WAKE UP TO A MESS. wE BLAMED MY SON BUT AFTER SOME RESEARCH DISCOVERED THAT THE LEVER THATB ACTUATES THE VALVE ALLOWING FOR A QUICK DRINK DOES NOT RELEASE THE VALVE. THE RESULT IS THAT COFFEE DOES NOT FLOW TO THE FLASK AND ONCE THE BASKET FILLS COFFEE OVERFLOWS. a BASIC DESIGN PROBLEM
