Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very impressed Worst coffee maker ever!!! Bought just over a month ago worked great for about 2 weeks not it takes about half an hour to brew a pot. The water does not circulate properly and I lose over half of water to steam. All it does is gurgle and make steam barely getting wet the coffee grinds. I have cleaned with vinegar 4x now and nothing works better. Unfortunately I live in a very remote Arctic community and this was bought 1500km away and cant even take back!! So now I am stuck pour hot water manually through the filter. First black and decker appliance, probably my last

Rated 1 out of 5 by from trouble! I've had this model about a month. Unfortunately, as I was bringing it out of the cupboard one morning the carafe slipped out, fell and broke. I bought the "universal" replacement carafe but I have not been able to brew coffee properly. My problem is toggling the ball in the bottom of the coffee basket, so that the coffee will drip into the carafe. I've inserted the smaller lid that came with the universal replacement carafe to its least cm. hoping to toggle the ball, but this only happens when I insert the carafe and place it on the coffee maker hot plate.
