
Cut green beans
- 1 lb. frozen or fresh cut green beans
- 3/4 cup water
- In medium saucepan, cook green beans in water until tender. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Drain green beans, reserving cooking liquid.
- Add green beans and about 1/3 cup cooking liquid to blender. Process on puree until smooth.
Squash/Sweet Potatoes
- 1 lb. fresh squash or sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3/4 cup water
- In medium saucepan, cook green beans in water until tender. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Drain green beans, reserving cooking liquid.
- Add green beans and about 1/3 cup cooking liquid to blender. Process on puree until smooth.
