Use the pulse button in 5-second intervals to chop the vegetables until you have the right consistency.

Whether you’re doing traditional margaritas or making non-alcoholic drinks for the kids, simply add the ingredients into your blending jar with ice and use the highest speed setting. The high speed setting allows you to crush the ice properly; once the ice is crushed, you can use the pulse button the get the texture you want.
In-Between Cleaning Made Easy
Obviously you need to clean the blender jar between recipes, but do you really have to break the blender down completely in between blending tasks to get it clean?
Instead of taking apart the jar, simply put a drop of dishwasher liquid with a few cups of water in the jar; close the lid and use a medium speed setting to clean the jar in seconds without having to reassemble. Always rinse thoroughly before your next blend.
